Camera Configuration

Our RED® V-RAPTOR™ housing provides the ultimate high resolution, high frame rate large sensor water setup available on the market today. This is a custom built system that has multiple configurations depending on the shooting requirement. This system allows for use of the Kippertie Strata PL ND lens mount, so you’ve got Clear - 2.1 ND control at your fingertips.

1. Compact mode, uses the Portkeys BM5 III 5.5” monitor & a micro V-mount battery up to 200wH. Full compatibility with our lens port range, including Sigma 18-35, Tokina 11-20, Cooke Panchro / S4i etc.

2. Cforce mode, uses the same configuration as above, but adds an extension to the front of the housing that allows the use of Arri Cforce Mini RF focus/iris motors, tethered by cable to the WCU-4/HI-5 hand unit. It is possible to use lenses such as the Signature Primes (18-125mm focal lengths) or cinema primes of similar physical dimensions. We also have the

3. Compact mode, is a flat back option with no internal mounted monitor, making the housing 50mm shorter. Use the onboard SDI bulkhead to either remotely monitor, or attach a top mount external monitor housing via the top cheeseplate.
