Water cinematography is our specialty and what we love to shoot. whatever the project, Whether it be a pool scene, a lifestyle shoot or working with athletes we can help. cinematographer steve wall has spent a decade shooting from the water across motion and stills projects in advertising & film.

SPECIALTY CAMERA SYSTEMS / HIGH SPEED

We offer a Freefly Systems Ember camera. This camera shoots up to 448fps in 4K, or over 1400fps in 2K in a tiny mirrorless style form factor. This camera opens up options for super slow motion cinematography where a full size Phantom Flex system is not viable.

SUPPORT VESSEL / WATER SAFETY

We’re experienced in using jetskis and boats to get to those more challenging locations, and get shots that would not be possible otherwise. With some important modifications, our ultra stable Yamaha PWC is ready for production work. With an external battery system which can keep the camera going all day, a mast for wireless image transmission from our housing. We can operate as a self contained water unit with an expert driver and camera operator.

EXTENSIVE EQUIPMENT OPTIONS

in water, we can meet the requirements of each production style. We have underwater housings for the Arri Alexa Mini & Mini LF, RED Gemini, or smaller cameras such as the Red Komodo, Blackmagic Pocket or Canon R5. We have lens options from 8-200mm across stills and cinema glass, including Arri Signature Primes & Cooke Panchro Classics. Our Alexa system has several configurations, allowing for WCU-4 + C-force motor integration with full cabled topside control of focus, iris, camera settings and image monitoring

Working with professional surfer Laura Enever, we set out to create a film that would redefine womens big wave surfing. Undone was received to critical acclaim around the world in mid 2020, rising to #1 on the global Apple TV Sports & Documentary charts. This film saw us travelling all over Australia, visiting iconic big wave destinations such as Shipstern Bluff & The Right.
